It's very difficult to get 10 guys who don;t know each other personally together for a draft at a specific time.

I don't even think we had a time limit....just basically said obviously don't bug someone over night. Otherwise the person who goes would always PM whoever is next.

I'd be useless drafting on the message board beyond 6pm eastern so I'll bow out of consideration .

have fun with it though !

Since I live in Europe I do most of my drafts at night. The last one, a keeper hockey league went in the middle of the night(4am) my time, so Im used to.... I think :|

There is still a lot of time to the start of the season. Im sure we can come to agreement and choose 1 exact day out of 60. The draft time is always hard for many people to agree on, but if you are committed to this, will find 2 hours time for a draft

If I remember correctly, all 10 managers preferred a slow draft on the boards here last season. I don't see us changing our draft format for 1 new comer.

Yeah slow drafts on the board is actually fun. Us having that much time lends to that idea because it gives us a little bit of thinking time when making our picks. I love it.

I'm still not sure but put me down on the 'maybe contact later' list if you're still looking closer to the time. Like I said I prefer deeper leagues but would adjust if you're keeping it at 10 teams (as Dave and perhaps the rest of you prefer).

I did find this league a little shallow, but it kind of keeps it easy and stress-free that way. Not saying we should change it up, just that I'm open to whatever kind of discussion anyone wants to have on that topic.

Ok GSD is in and just still waiting on lucafen and Kofax to confirm. Not sure we'll be able to hit 12 or 14 guys at this pace

I'm more than happy with last year's categories and format, but just wanted to throw this out there. Since it is a one year league, would any of you guys be interested in making it head-to-head points based? I'm not a huge fan of Points league but baseball seems like the perfect sport for that type of scoring system.

I did it one year with some friends and didn't really like it. A lot of the fun in baseball is the different styles of players, and if you take that away, I find it becomes a little bland. Just my take anyways.
