I like 5 x 5. Avg and OBP are so similar. If you win one, then you win both most likely.

Yep Im ok with OBP then. I think I said this earlier, the split just came up because originally (and in most leagues I'm in), BB is a separate category. But I believe we voted to have OBP over BB.....

Add a CI spot and an MI spot ( we already have an extra OF spot). That gets you to a nice even 25 on your roster, ( not including) IR. One IR spot should go to IR plus.

If you want to keep 6x5 need to pick either avg or obp. Then go with either slugging pct or obps ( if you go with average)

I like the 5x5, but Im a big fan of having Holds in there somewhere. There are just sooooooooooo many RPs that just go to waste if you don't count Holds.

If you go with holds you need to slot a couple roster spots for middle relievers. So a typical 6 player bench would probably look like. 1 position player, at least 1 middle relief or closer and 4 starting pitchers. So current bench spots would work.

Sorry can't count. 4 Inf plus 4 of 1 catcher, 1 corner infield, 1 middle infielder, 2starters, 2 relievers, 3 pitchers= 18
plus 7 bench, perfect! Roster is at 25. Now you can include holds, but if so holds should be a separate cat. Then you go avg and slugging pct or obs and slugging pct, on the hitters side now you are 6x6 and everything is in sync.

I don't think Holds have to be their own category. And we had them last year so why would we have to change the rosters just for that?? Having it as a combined category makes more sense for the pitching roster breakdown we have.

I wouldnt mind just doing a standard 5x5 H2H league. I was in one last year with a bunch of guys from work and I really liked it. Five hitting categories and five pitching categories (for those who arent aware of a 5x5 league.

Thoughts?

I agree with this, prefer standard 5x5 but open to slightly alter the categories from AVE to OBP and SV to SV+HLD. Not a fan of CI/MI positions, would rather just use UTIL.

Either way, if we have "Saves" as a cat, I would prefer it be "Svs+Holds".

MI and CI lower the OF value, which i like because there's so many OF that end up being good. Plus helps me out with drafting 10th because some real good value is gonna drop to me.

After thinking king about it, saves and hold as one cat makes sense because your relief pitchers now only directly controls one cat not two.

If you go with OBP skip right to slugging pct as another cat, because ops has obp cooked into it.
