horrorfan makes a good point, most of our picks will be made after 5pm ET on weekdays due to work. With horrofan not being available at those hours, it'll really slow down the draft. It was me that mentioned last year went smoothly and it still took 9 days to complete. So when you take into the account, the different time zones and the amount of slow days (weeks?) we are going to have due to vacationing/being away, I think it's best to start March 1 at the latest. Also, we all know the first two picks will be Trout and Altuve anyways.

I work a lot of nights too, so most of my picks will be after 10p and before noon.

The biggest point to start later was "top free agents not signed yet", well Darvish and Martinez are signed now, why don't we try and start sooner than March 1st.

Possible, but we'll have to wait until after HR comes back on the 1st before we can get his second round pick, assuming he provides his first before he leaves. I think that was the main reason for choosing the 1st as the earliest date.

That was one of my points but the others were just not being ready yet and also that I'll be away starting Thursday.

If you guys want to get started then I will not hold it back any longer. Seems like everyone is chomping at the bit right now.....just don't expect quick responses from me as you would usually get.

Baseball starts March 29 I think, and I do expect if things go smoothly we'll be done right around that day if we start March 1st, but I do kinda expect it to be cutting it close.

Last yr was crazy how quickly it went but we all were online at the same time it seemed.
