1B goalie on a pretty weak team? Yeah lol the value must really be hiding well.

Jokes aside maybe theres some value, but in a limited moves league I dont know if I spend one on him yet. Dropping Budaj for him seems pretty safe though if you feel you must have Mrazek.

He's a better talent than Budaj or Bernier on your roster, at minimum. Situation is likely worse than Bernier right now.

If it's dynasty, I feel he should probably be rostered if rosters are large enough that backups are rosterable. A couple years ago, he was part of a tandem with Holtby that won me my league, once I got smart and kicked Fleury to the curb. If I'm running the Islanders, I see if I can get him - he's an upgrade.

I still think you want Forsberg since he's got the job while Crawford is out, and we'll see if Mrazek gets dealt.

Had to update my sig. will likely only protect Andersen (formerly Crow) and Jones. But with all the tenders being essentially gone and so many more goalie games to play to hit my max here is grab and stash value to be had. Bernier was merely a hot stretch add. Mrazek I could see as a decent trade chip to a team struggle my for tenders esp if he gets moved. But all the while looking for streamable options aswell.

Dropped Budaj for Mrazek.

I remember watching Mrazek play against Tampa in the playoffs a few seasons ago...my goodness, his play sold me on the fact that he was a game breaking goalie, the next young stud in the NHL. How far he has fallen. I watched some of his games this season, and I couldn't believe that this was the same guy. His angles and positioning were all off and he was just so aggressive and lacking proper goalie fundamentals. If he were this 21 year old raw clay to be molded, I could see his potential, but to see a soon-to-be 26 year old play like this was really disappointing.

If he gets moved to another team, they'll need a strong goaltending coach to revamp his game. But it's really not the case of Mrazek needing a fresh start in my opinion, he needs to revamp his entire technique. Granted, I have not watched his play during this hot streak, but in my opinion, his fall from grace is completely merited.

I hope he figures it all out, and becomes a late bloomer like Dubnyk, because there's a talent there.
