Default How are your pools going so far?

How are the rest of you doing in your leagues? I probably entered too many leagues this year. Typically I don't do well on multi cat.

    $25 points keeper league: 1/16
    $20 box pool: 2/64
    $250 1 year points league: 2/12
    $50 points dynasty league: 2/30
    Dobber 1 yearyahoo: 2/12
    $50 1 year points league: 3/14
    $50 1 year points league: 4/21
Dobber Fans League 2 (pts): 4/13
Dobber Fans League 1 (pts): 6/12
Goal keeper league (just took team over): 8/14
    $10 newspaper box pool: 8/509
$10 newspaper box pool: 13/509 - I made sure to name one of my teams after the forum ... "Dobber Hockey" is my name on there.

F.M. That is a lot of leagues! I decided to do two this year and almost declined on the second one. Still not sure if I want to do two leagues. I like to focus on one set of players. Starts ruining my enjoyment when I don't know who to cheer for anymore. Plus, I am very hands on and like to trade and pick up free agents, etc., as much as possible.

Anyway, that said, I am pretty happy with my results so far this year:

    NWO Fantasy League Keep 10, $40: 1/10
    Elite Fantasy League Keep 10, $100: 1/10

Fingers crossed to the finish line
KHL Fantasy Hockey League Keep 8

    Goalie 6.5 Win .25 Save -2.5 GA 2-SO

Awesome . It's amazing, when I first joined this site I never listened to anyone and kept thinking I knew it all. Then things turned around 2 years ago and have been having great results since. I paid $500 or so in entry fees, am hoping I get some of it back lol.

holy banana's that's a lot of pools. most of my friends think I'm bat shit crazy for having 5

    $30 dynasty h2h - 1st O/A - really thought this would be a 4-6th place finish year.
$35 roto 8/13 - 1st roto in over a decade, been an adjustment
    $100 H2H, 12-keep, 130m cap - 4/12. A comeback for the ages, was in 12th 36 gb... now in 4th, final playoff spot 13gb (wicked bad luck in 1st 6wks of season)
    $50 H2H, 6/12 8-7 record, 2nd most fantasy pts (trailing 1st by 26pts)... so frustrating (heh)
$25 - points only- live draft @ pub 1/20... 24pt lead, have had the lead now for 115 days straight.

overall, I'm pleased 2 playoffs locked up already... dog fight for the 3rd pool... best I've ever done in the points pool... Roto.. I'll figure it out

I'd love nothing more than to win the $10 newspaper pool. I won 1st place for last season's play-off pool, would be pretty cool to win the regular season as well. Go back to back lol.

The team in my sig is finally starting to look like it's coming into its own. Still only sitting middle of the pack, but my young guys are starting to produce as they get some experience. Plus, all but one of the teams ahead of me is starting to decline. The one that isn't went from last to second in two seasons after getting McDavid, so I feel like he'll be alright for a while. Either way, the future is looking brighter for sure.

1)h2h multi cat- 3/16- leading my division (13points behind 1st overall)...my horses have started to run in mud
    2)pts only- 3/9- 4pts behind 2nd... 41pts behind 1st

Agree with Wonko, 1 or 2 leagues is plenty.

I pretty much suck in all 5 of my leagues. Injuries and under performers have killed any chances for this year - at least it is a good draft year.

H2H - (In brackets how many make playoffs)
    PQMC - 4/12 (6)
    Real Dynasty - 4/12 (6)
    Minus 4 - 6/20 (8)
    Hoser - 6/18 (8)
NHLFL - 7/12 (6) - Moving up to 5th with the results of this week though
    Thornton's Beard - 6/12 (6)
    Hollywood - 3/12 (6)
    Keeper - 1/12 (6)
    UHL - 15/24 (16)
    BDHL - 3/12 (8)

So I'm in a playoff spot in all of them, and in H2H that's really all I care about. Set your team up to win more categories than you lose, and come playoff time you can cruise through three weeks, no problem. So I'm very content with the results above so far.

    Roto
Dobber Campbell - 5/12 --> Closing in on the higher teams. Started slow after a botched autograft, and just making up games now. Should be a close finish if I can bring my GAA down.

Plus a couple other box pools that I won't get into. Should place in the money for one though.

Never understood how people only do one league

    (All dynasty leagues)

    1) 16 Team H2H points #1: about to go 16-1. Way out in first.
    2) 16 Team H2H points #2: Started out bad but rebounded, 9-7. Middle of the pack.
    3) 16 Team H2H points #3: about to go 12-4. First place.
    4) 10 Team H2H points: about to go 15-1. First place.
    5) 20 Team Sim league (82 game season): Doing terrible at 20-22-4. My team is a powerhouse but can't score for some reason.

So overall pretty damn good. Except for the sim league which is making me pull my hair out.

    Now you're getting fluffy

I never thought I'd ever even use that emoji, nevermind in context.
