I hit that... then under each artist they list several bands that are similar.. I start clicking through those and just get lost.

Always Led Zeppelin. First heard them in 1969. Saw them live 71, 73, and twice 75. Then Page and Plant when they toured.
Always have some Zeppelin on my play list.
My son is a very good guitarist and I introduced him to Page, Beck, Clapton, Hendrix when he first started playing.
From him I now listen to Radiohead, Greta van Fleet, Pearl Jam, Jack White , Kitsune, and the list goes on....

There is so much good music around regardless of the year, just depends on what mood you?re in.....peace out

May I ask where you saw Zep play?

I?ve always been a bit more partial to Floyd/Queen and maybe even Stones as far as studio material goes...maybe...on most days anyway. But, live? I think Zeppelin was the bees knees. In terms of a classic rock show and the approach they took on stage, that stuff is right up my alley.

I did see Page and Plant in 98 in Toronto and it was suberb, but I?m sure a show in their prime with their original rhythm section would be too much.

    Tobias,
    71, 73, 75 in Vancouver
    75 in Seattle
    Page & Plant in Vancouver

I did concert photography as a hobby. From California to BC I was lucky enough to see Kiss, Sammy Hagar, Todd Rundgren, Pat Benatar, U2, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac at very small venues. AC/DC, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Aerosmith, Yes, Queen, Tragically Hip, Bowie, Van Halen, NY Dolls, Steve Miller, Jethro Tull, Joe Cocker, Robin Trower, Rory Gallagher, in small arenas.
I’m sure there are many more I can’t recall right now. Missed out on Peter Gabriel & Genesis at the 2700 seat Orpheum.

For me, music has always been my first hobby above any sport, watching or playing. I usually have music playing for a good portion of the day/evening almost everyday. Spotify is great but I've always prefered to listen to albums in full, start to finish rather than a mix tape style. I also try to watch 2-3 concerts a week via youtube, you can really find some classic performances if you dig deep. Today is a Dave Matthews day for me. I'll share this incredible live version of Neil Young's Cortez The Killer. Unreal....

If you enjoyed that and are looking for more Dave Matthews, I suggest picking up or finding the Central Park Concert from 2003 or watch the 25th Anniversary Show below...

    Enjoy.

Too bad about KISS but the rest is super impressive!

I seen Plant and Page in Toronto in the late 90's. It was the next best thing to Led Zeppelin.

I agree. My first ever concert was a midnight Beach Boys concert at the Toronto Exhibition Grandstand in something like 1973. The concert ended at about 2:30 and was amazing.
