Chelsea Wolfe is one of my favorites. I think she was touring with youth code and now with ministry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUUMq4Z1hSc
Great to see other industrial/Ultra heavy beat fans. Those were the days. Nowadays most bands gravitate toward dubstep or EDM instead, so I was surprised to hear that raw industrial sound of Youth Code. I subscribe to Sirius XM, and they actually will feature some industrial type bands on there from time to time.
I also dug out some of my older favorite CDs, including from Young Gods, Project Pitchfork, and a few others.
Any recommendations for me?
Other non-industrial stuff I enjoy are female fronted bands with sounds that shift seamlessly from heavy to ethereal, like Curve (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=925lc-W7MGk) and Naked and Famous (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kC29pd_5sQU), plus good old fashioned punk like Adicts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WV5-KhZMOtY), Ratcat (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wy4SG-Uktrg), and of course the mighty Ramones (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vY-rvNjAgYQ). And I like a lot of what AWOLnation is doing, especially Not your Fault (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jm9-yVdxbSs) and Kill Your Heroes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_H77Ledl_I)

Been listening to a lot of live stuff on House of Strombo on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43zLcvLjrZc great diversity in music, live, intimate setting. Good stuff

He describes how he gets that sound HERE if you're interested

Very impressive. Thanks Bomm. I thought it may have been some type of special strings or just guitar strings. As i'm sure you know, Hendrix used a lot of gadgets to give him a unique sound....and this is definitely unique.
Also, I was wondering if the House of Strombo was actually George's. Now we know.
ABBA - Dancing Queen lmao
I'm getting more and more into Youth Code now. I may have found a new obsession! Its definitely old school and it brings back some good memories.
Here is another band with a Led Zeppin sound. You would almost swear it is Robert Plant.

Some day I will figure out how to post a video....but not today.
I've been enjoying Eric Elbogen's new project. Werewolf Diskdrive.
Here's a taste of it. He writes, produces, plays and records it all himself.
Hey anyone looking to score Radiohead tix for their July concert in Toronto? Go on sale this Saturday morning. Wife and are going to try for a pair.
