    Default Drop Lehner for Varlamov?

Do we think Lehner will be traded? Should I drop Lehner or Hutton for Varlamov?

I'd wait and see how the Colorado goaltending situation plays out first. Not saying Varlamov won't be the starter when he returns, but Bernier has played well enough to make it interesting. Hutton is the hot hand, while the Sabres have been playing better recently.

Pretty much on total agreement with the above.

It makes sense that Lehner will be traded by the deadline but I would think it will be to a team wanting some solid backup insurance and not necessarily a starter. Hutton is still hot as already mentioned. I'd drop Lehner for Varlamov.

I'd be careful about doing that move. For now I'd say stick with Lehner and Hutton. Varly is coming back from injury and Bernier may continue to start quite a bit here considering how well he's playing. If you can also get Bernier then I would do it, otherwise no. I'm not sure if the Sabres actually move Lehner in season, there has been minimal chatter around him despite them apparently wanting to move him. I would also think cheaper/smaller hit goalie options will be available for teams looking for a better backup. Could be wrong but it feels like an offseason move. If he does move it could greatly hurt his starts and not necessarily improve his other stats enough to offset that.

Like gooding74 said, I would wait and see what happens. Bernier has now lost 3 in row and blew the lead last night. Also Mac went down last night. Not sure for how long.

I would look at Lehner's stats over the past month. I'll point out his B2B SO's as the most recent why I'd heavily considering holding.
