Who would be the perfect # 3 goalie to ad !!!!!

Of the goalies listed below, who would be the best to pick up as my third starter for the potentially the reminder of the rest of the season. I have Hellebuyuk and Smith as my #1 and #2.

If you have any IR spots I would stash Luongo as he is the best goalie available and should be back within a couple weeks. But he is not safe at all to be there for the rest of the year - very high risk, but high reward.

After that, Lehner and Raanta are the guys who should start a lot, unless they get traded and become a backup on a contender. Markstrom is going to stay in Vancouver but is also on a bottom feeder.

Darling has not proven himself able to hold the job, he's not good to own especially if you cant get Ward.

Neuvirth is unreliable as we dont know how much hell play due to Elliott and injuries.

Subban and Saros you can rule out as they wont play enough.

Raanta is better than his stats are showing. If he gets traded to a contender at the deadline - watchout!

I agree here. STash Luongo and grab Raanta. he's been playing great. Problem with Lehner is you never know what you'll get- on any given night Buffalo can have an amazing game or get completely shelled.

yup, i had Lehner in a league in my sig and this was a problem, im leading the league atm and he was holding me back, traded him + tolvanen and upgraded to Jones and hoping at least he can spare me 6 goal against nights...but in general i think Lehner is a decent or even good goalie just a bad bad team atm.

You're correct-Lehner is a decent goalie but he's not worth much on the dumpster fire that is the Buffalo Sabres

And that is saying a lot, since his stats are showing he is very good! .919 save% on the season and .928 save% in the last 30 days. And in the past 30 days he has 4 wins in 10 appearances with a GAA of 2.05 so that is pretty darn good too considering the craphole team he plays for!

If I were the Yotes I would be doing everything in my power to re-sign this guy. I'd only trade him to a contender if he said there is no way he re-ups... and why would he say that?

Oh man, Raanta was the best 7th waiver claim ever! Everyone laughed when I claimed him, but he singlehandedly carried me last week when Schneider was out and Darling was benched. I love him, and I've been laughing ever since!
