Weighing My Options

Ive been looking to add a Defenceman on a reasonable contract. Been trying to trade a smaller Forward contract(IE; Tkachuk type) for a similar defenceman contract. Not too much success right now.
Thus I Approached an owner about OEL. He said any pkge would have to include MTkachuk(Not sure how much more Id need to add).

Saying this OEL only has 1 more year at 5.5m then if he has a big year those numbers could sore. Yikes.
MT ofcourse is at 950K for one more year then it could be a longterm deal(Im thinking around 7m + unless theres somehow a bridge deal involved.)

Currently in 1st place by about 400pts. But could use the depth on Defence and assure myself a better chance at winning it all for the next couple of years.

What do you think? pursue this more or Stand Pat. Is it necessary? details in Sig.

Tkachuk won't get 7M right away. I don't think he makes sense for OEL. I would target Muzzin if you can. Who else is owned by someone that would be selling?

Well I have another owner who just offered me Ryan Pullock and a 2018 2nd rdr top 20 pick rookie draft for my NPatrick
I probably could get a bit more.
