FUN but tough keeper league ? Deep format, low maintenance
Here are the rules :
- The basics :
Minimum of 24 participants (Max 30)
50$ per year (starting in 2018-2019, 2017-18 is a free year)
The Pre Draft will be done on facebook on a week night in January ? We will draft 60% of the final roster. The Final draft will be done next August.
You can draft one prospect eligible for the 2018 NHL draft in the pre draft. The rest have to be under contract in the NHL or drafted.
Cash prizes for the first 4 each year (starting in 2018-2019)
Snake draft
Points only league
- The low maintenance part :
No salary cap
No line change / daily movements
No need to do anything after the draft
No free agents or waiver wire
Unlimited trade between poolers
You can trade draft picks
Trades must fair, commish has the right to veto them
Trades between teams must be the same number of players and / or pick. Example 3 players against 2 picks and 1 player is legal. 2 players against 1 pick is not.
Trade deadline will be one day after the NHL draft.
All points follow the player who is traded
- The roster part :
Between 15 and 18 players per team (depends on the number of poolers)
6 forwards, 3 defencemen and 1 goalie will count in the final standing (the rest are considered bench players). Again, you don?t have to do any roster change.
Each year you must drop 3 players, no more no less.
Each following year we will do a mini draft of 3 players per team online (last place gets 1st pick, not a snake draft).
- The point scoring system
Points only league
1 point per goal, 1 per assist
.10 extra points for goal
.10 extra points for PP point
.25 extra points for GWG
2 points for each win
1 extra point for each shutout
