Would Patches not be a good fit with Pitt? Come a lot cheaper than E.Kane

Pacioretty would be a great fit for any team lookng for a scoring winger. But there is no chance that E.Kane will fetch more then Pacioretty would.. Patches still has another year on his contract, E.Kane is a UFA this summer..

This, assuming whatever team is asking about him is looking at him as a 30 goal scorer for next season, is this biggest piece. He's on a discount contract for what he can bring to the table. On a team with more scoring punch, Patches would be a massive gain. Kane makes more already, and is going to be able to use this year's success (even if he doesn't snap out of his little slump) into a considerably bigger contract than what Pacioretty is set to be paid next season. He's younger, but unless it's a team looking to lock Kane up long-term and not just looking for a rental then that doesn't really mean much. Pacioretty to me is the best scoring winger available at the deadline for sure, and I could definitely see him fetching the biggest return... Assuming Bergevin is actually willing to make a move.
