    Like Carter Hart!

And hopefully Canada doesn't shock us all like Team USA last year when they cut DeBrincat... wow that was so shocking.

Leaves them to cut two more forwards and two more defensemen.

If Colton Point is the 2nd goaltender, DiPietro has to go back to Windsor as the emergency goalie. If DiPietro is the second goalie, Point can go to the tournament with the team.

Glass the biggest surprise. With the year Cholowski's had in the W... I'm a bit surprised he was cut... but then you look at the names remaining and not surprised

When it comes to cuts for Canada, nothing suprises me anymore. Expect the unexpected. Glass took it well if you watch the exit interviews. Lind was pretty upset seeing as this was his last chance at representing Canada at the WJC.

I guess we'll see if it lights a fire under either. Lind was having an excellent year in the W.. hopefully this doesn't derail it... interesting to see Gadjovich still there

They dont need any lights lit under them. They wouldn't have been at the camp if they weren't already playing well for their respective teams.

Getting cut from this team can lead to hangovers when they return to the league teams... it's happened before. Some get motivated to prove they should have been on the team... others go back and sulk for a month

Final game for Selection Camp today vs Denmark. Scratches are Gadjovich, Dube, Clague, Timmins and Hart. Last four cuts and decisions on goaltending to be made afterwards.

Could one read into it that these guys are safe to make the team?

I would be shocked if someone not playing in the final game was cut, but I guess depending on what happens with those playing it could change the mind of the coaching staff. I could see Gadjovich or Timmins missing the cut. The other three being returning players are likely safe.

I think if they were going to cut Timmins they would have with the previous set of cuts... he was scratched in one of the first two games... so why keep him around to not play him and then decide to cut him.

Guys like Dube and Clague could be out simply to give the coaches a better look at a couple bubble players.

Five 1999 born Canadian forwards picked in top 13 in 2017 draft (Glass, Rasmussen, Tippett, Vilardi, Suzuki). None made final CAN team, although Vilardi never got a shot due to injury. The 99's to make it were Thomas (20th), Formenton (47th), Comtois (50th).
    Go Finland!
