Eichel,Schiefele,Mackinon,P.Kane,Karlsson pick 3

I am in a 3 keeper I,m thinking of keeping Kane Mack Eichel and trading Schief/Karlsson for draft picks and players to win this year I like Schief but doesn't shoot enough and its hard to imagine getting 30 goals year in year out in 180 shots .

Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shorthanded Points (SHP), Game-Winning Goals (GWG), Shots on Goal (SOG)

All of them are worthy of a top 3 spot and have the ability to be elite (Eichel and Mackinnon are the least proven but personally I believe both will be ppg players).

I wouldn't be married to any of them and I'd trade the ones that get the best return. I'd advise holding Karlsson through the cold streak, don't sell low on him.

Why are you looking to trade them so early?

That's not an easy choice. I think if I had to pick today I'd go with Kane, Karlsson and Eichel but I think many people on here would probably take Schiefele over Eichel and Kane right now. I didn't realise how little Schiefele shot actually, below 2/g is pretty low for a guy who can score. He does however seem to have a good career # of 15%, so he may just be pickier/smarter with his shot selection. Though he's a little high at 25% this year.

Very Easy choice for me: Kane, Karlson, Schieffle

Mack and Eichel will one day be upper class to elite, but Kane and Karlsson already are elite, and Schieffle is now in his second year playing at elite status (next year, we won't question it). If you are trading for draft picks, you should get plenty good for Mack and Eichel.

I would have to agree with Grapes. My 3 would be Schiefele, P.Kane, Karlsson (Don't like drama Queens like Eichs )

people in my league dont value Karlsson that much if thats worth noting he usually goes in the 3rd round every year 4th this year

This is rather bizarre, but if consistently true, then throwing him back and re-drafting him in the first round is the way to go. Replace Karlsson with whomever else you value between Eichel/Mackinnon. I suspect Eichel would be the guy with the most value in your league, so I think he'd be the guy I try and sell off late.

I just cant keep schiefele with his shot totals mack and eichel might score 10 points less per season but where talking 100 shots plus lost thats alot.

Man. I feel like I would have to keep Karlsson. He's young enough, now with Burns declining, he could really be the most elite scoring Dman long term. All though not sure why he's valued so low in your league. He's gold in most of my leagues at least. Well, not this year.

The rest is really difficult. Probably Kane, even though Chicago is not helping him at all right now.

The last one either Eichel, Schiefele or Mac.......You know, everyone seems to be going Eichel and Schiefele. But I might actually consider MacKinnon for that last spot. He's playing very well on a not so great Colorodo team. He could just keep getting better. And he's still very young.

But you, if you could maybe trade 2 for 1, one of these guys and someone else. Or maybe two of these guys, for a sure thing like McDavid, that might be worthwhile. I don't like the idea of trading for Seguin at this point. He never actually finishes that high in my leagues. I'd rather have Benn if I were taking anyone from Dallas.

i got time yes but just want to get a feel for what everyone thinks and for doing a 2 for 1 to get mcdavid is a no go ive tried

Ya, I was thinking the same thing when I came here. Way too early to be worrying about these things unless your trade deadline is close by.

As it stands right now, my three keepers would be Kane, Eichel and Karlsson. Something drastic would have to change between now and the time you need to pick for that to change.

with the foot injury and trade speculation I am prolly gonna let karlsson walk
