    Default Draisaitl: Buy-low time? -REP-

    League in sig.
OGM mentioned LD could be available, he is interested in my Simmonds and Ehlers. Has never been open to moving LD before so it feels like buy-low time.
What is his outlook at this point? Yes he is being paid a boatload of money but in fantasy is he going to be worth giving up Simmonds the multi-cat stalwart and Ehlers? Simmonds has been a top 3 winger in our scoring system the past few years. Ehlers is obviously a high-ceiling guy as well. Draisiatl's peripherals outside PPP are not good.
I have the depth to afford that price but is it a deal I should go for? The OGM is a main rival for the title this year. REPs for your well-considered response.

I wouldn't consider that a buy low, I think I'd stick with what you have.

That price is not a buy low. That sounds like full price.

I love Draisaitl but I'd also hold here.

I agree with the others, Simmonds is too good in this format to warrant adding Ehlers.

I’d go something like Wheeler, Rantanen (especially if he’s not a keeper) and a prospect like Sprong. I feel that’s not a low-ball offer but it’s still something that could work or at least get the ball rolling.

Depends on his team, but I'd be fine with moving Wheeler with Radulov to make it happen. It's still an overpay but chances are you are going to have to overpay a little.

He also has Eichel. If he really wants Simmonds and Ehlers is that the guy I should ask for?

I prefer Eichel to Drai. And I'd give up Simmonds and Ehlers for him.

In a multicat league like this, Simmonds has to hold excellent value. I think your 2nd piece (Ehlers) is too much to give for either Draisaitl or Eichel. Sure, both are young sexy names but Simmonds is the perfect player for this league. I'd offer Simmonds straight up for Eichel and see what he says and if you have to add, I don't think you'd need to go as much as Ehlers to close a deal. Just my thoughts.

Agree with Axe here - Simmonds would be worth 1 for 1 but after that you’re paying full price

Excellent points guys. Appreciate your perspective. I am definitely going to need to aim a little higher in talks since he is asking for so much.

    His roster:
Eichel Draisaitl Bergeron Pavelski Getzlaf Rakell ELindholm
Pacioretty Huberdeau ALee Buchnevich Galchenyuk Sheary Hartnell Burakovsky
    Perry Hornqvist Palmieri Panik Gourde
Klingberg Subban Carlson Fowler Letang Leddy Schultz Seabrook
    MJones Gibson CAnderson Howard

    Prospects:
Necas Tuch Guryanov Jones Crowse Theodore Morrissey Brannstrom Gillies Shestyerkin Grubauer Frk Terry

What should I ask for him to add to Eichel?

No way I give up Wheeler. Namestinkov and a D (Faulk) is what I would offer.

He's standing firm asking for Simmonds and Ehlers. The question now is how much can I gouge out of him in exchange for those two players. That's why I posted his roster above. I need to know what you guys think I should try to get from him.
