Man, the fact he's got that stuff in him and then Ibuprofen in his system is like an alcoholic drinking all his whiskey then mouth wash.

always came across as calm and cool on the mound , modest and almost a bit shy when interviewed .

Sad? Meh. Disappointing that a player I liked made a very poor decision that cut his fantastic life short. It was sad that he died, but this news is disappointing to hear.

Ya, that's kinda what I meant when I used the term sad.

Doesn't this report just confirm all the rumours? Even the amphetamines?

As sad as his death was, it's even sadder to see these circumstances being vetted.
All I can do is shake my head. A young, family man. Going out like that. I understand humans are humans and they sometimes make bad choices. But at least make sure those bad choices only impact you. Roy clearly overlooked that part.

I loved Roy Halladay. He was one of my favourite players ever. Just an amazing pitcher who was often the only real bright spot to watch on those mediocre Jays teams. When he was on, no Blue Jay hurler was more dominant. The only one in the same category would be Clemens.

Even Maverick learned his lesson after he lost Goose in that unfortunate washout. Anything that flies, and which lacks a cardiovascular system, is not a toy.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
