The Tragically Hip were quite literally the soundtrack of high school for me. I have never bought or owned any of their stuff by I swear I know at least 3 albums by heart. They were on every car trip, in every party, at every cottage for a lot of years. RIP Gord

Watched the Long Time Running documentary on Friday and I'll admit I had to choke back a tear or two. The Hip are a huge band for me... being mostly a metal fan people always thought it was weird that I was such a big Hip fan but for whatever reason, I've loved them since grade nine. Gord will be missed. As a performer, a writer and a person, he was one of a kind.
