I'm up 8-1 right now in my matchup and wanted others thoughts on if I should just rest my goalies the rest of the week. 3 goalie appearances minimum per week with only 3 categories dedicated to goalies. I know ill lose 1 of these categories if I bench them for the rest of the week, but I figure at worst id win this matchup 8-2

I have Crawford, Raanta, Luongo(ive made 3 appearnces)
He has Murray, Lundqvist, Saaros(hes made 6 appearances)

    W- tied at 2
    SV%- .962 to .902

I would rest them if I were you and I use this tactic fairly often. Even if you played your goalies theres still a strong possibility his goalies end up with more wins. If you play them and they lay an egg, and his goalie has a strong showing those categories could flip flop. Theres no incentive to play your goalies now so don't bother risking it.

I would actually go the other way. Pick my starts just aiming for wins. I would be starting Raanta tonight against LV, and go from there. I would probably sit Crawford as they are on the second half of a B2B.

Crawford owns Montreal. He's a definite play to me.

Sit them. Take your 2 out of 3.

    C. McDavid, N. Kucherov, R. O'Reilly, J. Schwartz, J. Toews, J. Huberdeau, T. Toffoli, M. Granlund

    Defense:

Not using hindsight I’d generally sit and take my wins

This is why percentages are garbage in fantasy hockey, in my opinion you shouldn't get an advantage for sitting players the idea is to have the best fantasy team playing not get the luckiest and put them on the bench, what fun is that? Absolute trash. Rant over.
That being said it's about winning and if you are in a league with crappy categories you have to do what you need to win so you have to sit them if it gives you the best opportunity.
