What do you mean? Other than his line combos and starting goalie suck balls and they have looked very disjointed in the first two games, why should he be worried? I mean, Lowry would obviously be on my top power play unit with all of the high threat players on that team, Perrault too!

Caught it. While I think it's a real possibility that he returns sometime down the road you gotta think he's with TBay for a bit yet as they are Stanley cup contenders.
But the return does make sense.

I really hope Winnipeg stops wasting this opportunity they have.

    Laine at $925k
    Ehlers at $894k
    Morrissey at $863k
    Trouba at $2.8M

These guys are making a total of $5.5M. Next year, it might be around $17M. In two years, I'm guessing that number is somewhere around $24M. You don't get opportunities like this very often. If your coach can't get the job done, find someone else. It's really that simple.

Poor Maurice... the Rodney Dangerfield of NHL coaches.

But yeah... prob him. Sooner see AV go first though. Loved watching the Leafs toy with him last night. Blow out... nope... great moves AV, you’re team is back in it... wait what? ... nope... blow out.

chevy and maurice both have new deals - idk much about wpg ownership and their patience level but I'd venture to say they've given gm-coach a long leash

The chants for Hakstol's head in Philly just keep getting louder and louder. I'd be surprised if he isn't the first to go this season.
However, I surprised that we are this deep into the season and nobody has been let go yet.

    Ben McAdoo for sure.

After that....definitely Hakstol on the hot seat. Blashill could go if someone else opens up.

Haskol has to be the front runner. 10 games without a win. Housley a close second. I think McLellan makes it through the season.

A new candidate could be emerging. Guy Boucher. The Sens have lost 7 of their last 8 and are losing tonight. Karlsson no points in his last 9 games and is minus 11.

Probably isn't in danger quite yet, but if this keeps up, something will have to give.

That makes sense. The Sens like to get rid of coaches every couple of years on average.

It would take a terrible run (like media asking why Boucher hasn't been fired yet for a month) for Ottawa to pay Boucher to not coach for the team and a new coach. He's got this yr and next yr on his contract still.
