If we get a decent number of returnees we will start a Tier System next year.

So top spots of each Group will be in Tier 1 and so forth... I myself after my crappy performance will be starting in Tier - Bottom! hahah

I remember laughing at pmorrow for having to pick Vegas as the last pick. I took Vancouver before that. Nice decision there.

Here's a concept for this challenge going forward.
5-person leagues (or "Tier"s).
Each Player in a Tier chooses 6 teams.
Te final pick #30 having a choice from TWO teams, leaving 1 NHL team unpicked.

Every year in each league/tier, there will be promotion/relegation:
TIER Champ jumps +2 tiers
TIER 2nd jumps +1 tier
TIER 3rd stay in tier
TIER 4th falls -1 tier
TIER 5th falls -2 tier

Of course... there ends up being a cluster near the top, because you can't have three teams going up to Tier I with only two sliding out...
But that could be solved somehow.

But - key being to have lots of tiers so that it becomes basically one big ladder split into groups of five.

(Now - let's be honest - the Vegas Knights were a big *gift* this year and the top two groups had TWO teams each, FOUR TOTAL, that were gifted the Knights... so maybe we need to start from scratch next year and then tier after that! )

I like this idea of the 5 different tiers!!

And yes true... Vegas was a bit of a gift! So you think we should just randomly start fresh by randomizing the groups again next year... then tiering after that? With your ladder system it will change quite a bit year to year so I am okay with that or okay with using this years standings to set up the tiers!

Please remind me of this idea when it comes next year!! Cause I do like it a lot!!
