2017-18 goalie list. Just a general list. For everyone to look at for this year. I will edit. Let me know who should be moved up down added. I think every year gets tougher to pick goalies in fantasy.
List not done yet. Will add more.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Jones and Crawford too high - they're not superb goalies in their own right and their teams are likely to take steps back.

Bishop for Vezina
For me, any goalie list order ranking (1,2,3,4,5,6...etc) is deceiving.
And besides that, leagues can be W or W/GAA/SV%.
For pure wins, quickest calc is just to take Vegas Over/Unders, divide by 2.2 to get a Predicted Win Amount and then multiply that by %Starts by G1.
I've got my own spreadsheet for that which, unsurprisingly, puts Holtby/Talbot/Murray at top of Wins-count.
Tiering is a lot better way to see it, because I love the value on the back-end of a tier rather than the front-end of a tier that may NOT be the start of a run:
Tier I: Holtby
Tier I/II: Price(periph-heavy-league), Talbot(win-heavy-league), Murray(pts/gp-weight)
Tier II: A boatload of guys, from G05-G20 or so (incl. Anderson, Quick, Allen, Schneider at the back-end)
Tier III: From about 20-25, it gets a bit more dicey - depends on how much somebody likes Halak/Elliott/Darling/Lehner/Mason... but that ain't bad names for 20-25 range!!! (IMO)
Tier IV: Teams 26-31: FLA, Raanta(ARI), DET, VAN, COL, VEG
I'd have Gibson on there somewhere.. certainly ahead of Raanta, at the very least!

Agree with this, Penguin, though I'm not very optimistic about Holtby this year. Not that I wouldn't put him near or at the top, but I don't see a lot of daylight between him and your other top-tier guys.
I feel I've had good success in league in my sig basically ignoring goalies for many rounds while the first 10 to 12 goalies go. At that point, the other nine teams have at least one goalie and I know which ones already have two, so the back end of that Tier II can just hang around for a while, sometimes into the 11th-15th round. The other GMs with only one goalie are usually using a similar strategy and so aren't eager to start a run on the Anderson/Quick/Schneider types either. Eventually, it's usually one of the teams with two goaliesalready that thinks they'll grab a solid back up or a trading chit, but by then I often have a nice core of skaters.
There is enough variability in goalie performance from year to year that you have a good chance of snagging a year like Bobrovsky's first Vezina win, Thomas' Stanley Cup year, or Anderson 2013-2014 (three I was lucky enough to ride to good seasons). It's a bit of a boom-or-bust strategy, but you usually need some luck to break your way to win first place, and it's more likely to happen with your goalies than your skaters.
