I am out on Holtby this season. Someone will draft him before I am willing to.

Theodore will be right in and around that range but it's also a range where defensemen are fungible with what's available on the waiver wire so I probably won't own him in most leagues.

    Very solid.
My 5th source - and these slide in very well with what I've mapped from Dobber, Yahoo, Fantrax, TSN.
I like that you do have 5-10 skaters that you bumped outside the normal range.
Predictions without some bullish/bearish guys are just collections of everybody else's thoughts - so kudos on that.
I noted several 2nd year players that you have spiking higher.

As a fan, you might have a better read on your team (EDM) than others.
So what do you like about Jussi Jokinen (who you have higher than all others) and what don't you like about Ryan Strome (who you have lower than all others)?

Perhaps I should have included games played as this is mostly what is driving the difference. Strome has averaged 70 games the past two seasons, a growing trend. Jokinen has a longer track record and while he missed time last year, he's generally been good for 80 games. I also think Strome is a bit of a dud, especially as an Eberle replacement. He's cheaper but also not as good and comes with the same deficiency (a poor one-timer) that is going to limit his potential on this team because he won't be able to effectively operate from the Ovechkin slot on the power play.

Interesting read. I am curious on a couple names. Your list ends at 17 pts projected so I am assuming you dont expect these names to get that many points. Guys like:

    Christian Fischer
    Victor Antipin
    Josh Morrissey
    Anders Bjork
    Colin White
    Ondrej Kase
    Anton Slepyshev
    PL Dubois
    Adrian Kempe
    Alexander Nylander

I couldn't find them doing a search for an upcoming draft of my own.
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League

25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
    Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt

Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, Brink

    G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

It was about whether or not I felt the player could be intriguing to someone in the average one-year league.

Right on. I didn't realize your rankings were for one-year leagues (although I understand your projections are for this upcoming season).

    Thought's on Ehlers?
I was thinking more along the lines of 68-72 & ~15 PPP. Mostly a small uptick in assists from last year. Similar finish with 20goals on 200sog. (10%, down from 12.3% last year)

He certainly could do that but I suspect the Jets' power play needs to stop sucking for most of these guys to hit their upsides.

Skater stuff looks very legit. Sure - I differ in some areas, but what I like a lot about the list is the logic and consistency behind it. For example, if you look not just at players but their teams, the numbers you have for the skaters make sense. Many predictions fail to take that into account or create inconsistencies.

That all having been said, we have wildly divergent views on goalies. But hey - to each his own.

Thanks for sharing, and tip of the hat for the work that went into this. It's a superb resource for us to have.

Seems like everyone is bullish on Gostisbehere this season but I need some more convincing. What are you seeing that makes him a Tier 2 dman? No concerns about healthy scratches or losing PP time?

No concerns about losing PP time. If Provorov jacks PP time, it'll be from someone else. Remember, they lost Schenn this summer so there is an opening on that top unit. They experimented with Provorov on PP1 last season but that involved going 2D with Gostisbehere moving over. With the Flyers PP tentpole in his back pocket, Gostisbehere should improve if the Flyers can do anything at 5-on-5. They can't be worse at evens than last season so if there's improvement Gostisbehere should get to 50 if not more.
