I bought Bitcoin back in 2016, but not nearly enough! Converted it all into Ethereum in 2018 and letting it ride for a long time since I feel like that's going to be where things really take off in the end. But it's all gambling. I consider it money that I will never see again, but has a very low probability of being life-changing. NOT investment money. Play money.

according to wikipedia "A cryptocurrency (or crypto currency or crypto for short) is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange wherein individual coin ownership records are stored in a ledger existing in a form of computerized database using strong cryptography to secure transaction records"

No he's not. He's buying bitcoin with his salary and promoting a company that helps people do that.

As prices continue to rise, so will these types of things pop up more as well.

The crypto world is bonkers though for sure. None of it makes much sense and I just have to think there are going to be regulatory laws coming down the pipe for anyone holding them.

There is a picture floating around showing the prizes for a StarCraft tournament from 2011. First prize: $500, Second prize $250, Third prize $150, Fourth prize $100, and Fifth to Eighth prize 25 bitcoins each. This was at Bitcoin’s infancy when they were worth about a dollar each. Today, 25 bitcoins is worth just under 1.7 million dollars Canadian...
