A few articles I read today make the point that with banks, hedge funds and other institutions investing in crypto, that it is no longer the anti inflationary, cycle agnostic asset that it was originally designed to be. Meaning as stocks go up and down so will crypto thanks to all the institutions. If this is the case then it is a lot less attractive as an asset class because I'd rather just buy an etf.

    You can't stake an ETF

Why not buy crypto and stake it or borrow against it?

I'm still buying and I think of this correction as a gift. I am still extremely bullish but that's just me.

Why not daily (or weekl)y cost average in? Seems like a good time.

Hmm leverage against an already speculative, volatile asset. Sounds like a brilliant idea

Although I've never leveraged any of my crypto I have no problem lending it out for a 5% return (average) over a 30 day period.

There's some exchanges that offer 100x leverage or more. Hence the crazy swings.

If I was just getting into crypto I would totally be buying ETH at this price $2500ish

And then I would be hoping it falls to $2000 where the majority of the position gets filled. And more buy orders from $1500 and up.

I would then earn about 8% interest on my ETH; paid out daily.

I bought some ETH today when I saw that it was $2500. Couldnt resist that sexy minx. I believe I will do some more shopping today as well, but Im not sure if it will be more ETH. Im having a bit of a crisis as a lot of really good projects are at a massive discount.

US Feds supposed to announce some crypto policies next month. Who knows, maybe things drop a heck of a lot more in the next little while.

My biggest fear is that the price will drop more and I dont have enough money to put in.

I've always said policies and regulations will be good for crytpo

In order for this to ten times again we need institutional help.

I tend to agree, however it could lead to some selling. Or buying. Or sideways.
