Is Pulock worth an add? will he make team? 40 points? PP time? its a free add gunna go him as 4th D or Hartnell for bench depth

He will make the team but 40 points is not going to happen right away at least. I might roll the dice with Hartnell for this upcoming season but after that Pulock will be the better option.

    I agree with this.

If things start to go south for the Isles, it would behoove them to put the kid on top PP and shelter him similar to what Pitt did to rekindle Schultz. If let loose as a PP specialist, Pulock will be this year's Werenski... If your league rewards hits/PIM, I think you have to give Hartnell a chance at a renaissance season with his new old team, but the home run swing is definitely Pulock between the two. BTW - as a Philly guy, I know that Coach Lavy absolutely LOVES Hartsy... Mark a bump in responsibility for Hartnell this season - even if this is the last we see of Hartnell Down!

Which of these (Josi, Werenski, Ghost, Keith) did you end up losing that you need to replace as 4th D?

he will get all opportunities he can handle but we will see if he takes advantage. Prior to last year he has been a disappointment in his professional carrier, so we will see if last year was a fluke or if he can be a good offensive guy.

You have to weigh how many times you'd start him versus Hartnell. Like I said, if this is a PIM/Hits league, gotta go Hartnell at least for this season. We should know a whole lot more about Pulock after this season.

I'm impressed... But I'm actually pretty surprised by the numbers Barzal, Eberle, Tavares and Beauvillier have already put up. I was dead wrong about Hartnell. The kid seems to be solid. Probably sheltered role and stealing Leddy's 2nd half points.

I like what I`m seeing now. Drafted him a couple years back in my league`s inaugural draft, and maybe like everyone else, I expected bigger things sooner. But he is now getting there and becoming relevant fantasy-wise. And the upside is still big.

Update: Ryan Pulock is pretty interesting.

    Last 30 days:
    Player A 14 games 3 goals 7 assists 48 SOG 16 Hits 18 Blocks 4 STP
    Player B 14 games 1 goal 12 assists 50 SOG 9 Hits 20 Blocks 5 STP

Player A is Pulock. Over this period he is averaging 20:26 TOI and getting 20% of his team's PP time.
Player B is Brent Burns. Over this period he is averaging 25:03 TOI and 75% of his team's PP time.

Really excited to see what Pulock can eventually do with a couple more minutes of ice time and a spot on PP1.

I'm happy he turned things around because I was a little worried the isles crushed his confidence .

Seems like he's been around forever, but he's technically a rookie this season. Eligible for Calder consideration, not that he deserves any with what the other candidates have done.

37 point 82 game pace is pretty solid for a rookie D man.

Nice to see him doing well. From the looks of it he already has one of the hardest shots in the league
