    Here's where it happened:

If he doesn't get surgery he's an idiot, he just planted on it and went down. No way does rest heal that enough for a QB.

This could be very helpful to me because I am not even close to NFL mode. But I probably should be.

Every rookie RB sucks in pass pro. Or almost every rookie at least. Kelley was always going to start as the starter, but Perine could overtake him by midseason.

    No structural damage.
A lot of reports on this really misrepresented what happened here and what the Dolphins said. Their actual release said that Tannehill's knee "was the same as it was this morning".

This is the most accurate representation of the medical diagnoses behind the scenes http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/...t=oft12aH-2gp2

The Mixon injury was just a cut on is heel, he got stepped on. Nothing serious.

FWIW, if you want serious, real, knowledgeable NFL injury information you have to be following @profootballdoc on twitter. Ignore the rest of the noise and put his opinion first.

Dobber NFL Fantasy Mock Draft starts next week...

Real Fantasy mock drafts start in a couple weeks time..

and the season is less than 5 weeks away!! And there are two long weekends in that time frame so the 5 weeks will fly by!

Just heard reports that Gase and Fins' management "officially" reached out to Cutler personally and through his agent.

So Cutler ends up doing a 1 year, $1 million contract with Miami.

Think that's probably a good thing for Ajayi and Parker (say what you will about Culter, but teams have to respect the arm strength), and a not so good thing for Jarvis Landry (for whatever portion of the season he plays in light of reports that he's apparently being investigated or five alleged acts of domestic violence occurring over a six day period).

    In other news:

Jets placed WR Quincy Enunwa on injured reserve with a neck injury, ending his season.
Unbelievable. Enunwa, the Jets' clear-cut No. 1 receiver, was injured in a team scrimmage on Saturday. It leaves second-year UDFA Robby Anderson as Gang Green's No. 1. It's a positively cataclysmic situation for a team that should be amongst the most unwatchable in league history this season. As for Enunwa, it's devastating news that wipes out his age-25 campaign. Neck injuries are arguably the trickiest in all of football. His status beyond 2017 should be considered uncertain.

Oh, the J-E-T-S. They may take a serious run at 0-fer this year.

    It’s a 1yr, 10mill contract.
    Base Salary- $5mill
    Roster Bonus- $5mill

    Then performance bonuses of:
    75% playing time + playoff birth- 1mill
    75% playing time + playoff win: $1M
75% playing time + Top 10 in total TDs: $1M

Also, Stills is their long guy, Landry is the slot. So I think Landry and Parker are slightly the same as expected, but Stills gets a bump a bit.

In their first yrs in Adam Gase’s offense, they both had really good yrs. Cutler’s was 2015, Tannehill was 2016.
-Cutler's stats in 2015: 64.4 completion percentage, 243.9 pass yards per game, 21 TDs, 11 INTs, 92.3 passer rating
-Tannehill's stats in 2016: 67.1 completion percentage, 230.4 pass yards per game, 19 TDs, 12 INTs, 93.5 passer rating

If Cutler isn’t an idiot with his throws, he can actually do well. But remember that he had Marshall and Jeffery I think in 2015 who are both so tall and physical, they could win jump balls easily. Landry is just under 6ft, Stills is 6ft, and Parker is 6’3”. Bit different than Marshall (6’4”), and Jeffery (6’4”).

Not saying in a 10teamer is Cutler going to be a starting QB for you, but he’s also not against the best defences this yr (Patroits, Jets, Bills), and the best defence in that division is the Patriots and they don’t get INTs.

Yes, thanks for clarifying the contract terms. Pretty significant typo on my part.

Apparently, Albert is now interested in re-joining the Jags because he doesn't want to repay his signing bonus. And the Jags, unsurprisingly, aren't too keen on welcoming him back.

Seriously, don't these guys have agents and/or financial advisors who explain these basic things to the player before he goes and does something as significant as informing his team that he's retiring?

Hearts not in the sport anymore, the concussion CTE report came out right before it, he just had a bad injury season. He also did a few days of that preseason workout training camp stuff, so maybe he was just not in shape and said “meh, not worth it after 9seasons to play on this crappy team”. Likely a very spontaneous decision he took thinking he was just leaving the 8mill on the table.

Dudes an idiot in my eyes tho. Makes a big decision without knowing everything, and obviously announced it to the media before talking to the team.

This is a bump for Parker more than anyone. DGAF Cutler will just pepper his biggest WR with targets like he always does with Alshon.
