I do not think Eberle is something that could fetch Hamonic, considering it took Hall to get Larsson.
Hockeyfeed.com is reportingn that the Oilers are on the verge of a big trade with speculation revolving around Eberle. Now, I normally would not put a lot of credence into the Hockeyfeed, but Bob McKenzie's name seems to confirm the rumour. Possible a trade involving Eberle and Hamonic?

It was brought up in another thread that acquiring a D for Edmonton prior to the expansion draft would result in an undesirable situation, i.e. moving from 7-3-1 to 4-4-1 and exposing Kassian and Letestu I believe.
Although if the cost is the possibility of losing one of those guys, but you get your man on the back end, I guess you just make it happen.
EDIT: It was Lawman from the Hamonic thread.
Not acquiring Hamonic for Eberle so you don't have to lose one of Kassian or Letestu would be just abhorrent management by Chiarelli.
I think I heard a rumor [insert any NHL team here] is about to make a big trade too! Haha.
Likely sure Eberle is gone though

I can't list my 2nd main keeper as there are too many players, but it is a keep all H2H points-only league
Eberle is a winger so Habs are a likely destination.

Love it! Makes off season a bit more exciting than usual!
Eberle to Philly??
I think I have heard that rumour annually for 4 years now!
I think it will be Eberle for Hamonic...makes a lot of sense for both teams, given the expansion draft situation and Tavares desperately needing a winger to play with.

well, I guess that is a matter of opinion. I mean, Tavares had his worse season since his rookie year, playing with Bailey and Lee. I don't think they are good enough. Maybe Eberle isn't either, but he has put up huge numbers in the past, so there is possibly reason to believe he might be able to do that again if he plays with someone like Tavares full time.

Sure, maybe. Is Edmonton adding a first round pick to the deal? Hamonic is a better player, with a better contract, who is signed for longer, at a more important position, and Hamonic is also younger. I legitimately think Edmonton would have to add a first round pick to make this an even trade.
