    Default MLB Injury Woes

Bring them here. It seems like every day I'm waking up to a new one on one of my 3 teams. It's insane.

At what point do you start dropping talent? In my most injury plagued league...Im in 1st...but not by much and getting smoked this week. I have 3 active players on the DL (plus 3 on my DL)....one being Ottavino last night.

Would you be dropping Ottavino (league leader in Holds) in a Holds league (not SV+H)?

I feel ya buddy! I have a 3-DL slot league and I've been holding on to 2 extra DLs throughout the year. I had Price, Capps and Donaldson on it pretty much from the get-go. I've had A. Sanchez bouncing on and off with his blister issues. I've had Kluber and more recently A. Wood on it. I Osuna on it early on followed by Glover...

Urgggh, it just didn't stop which positions me in 7th out of 12 but with a solid team. Hopefully the injury bug hits the other teams in our respective leagues and stays away from ours!

To answer your question, I would hold on to him for a few more days before deciding on dropping him or not. He has some inflammation to the shoulder. A. Wood had some joint inflammation and he will only miss about a week so your best bet is to get a tad more info here before doing anything drastic.

If any team has avoided the bug they have to be in great position....but I haven't seen it.

Donaldson, Cespedes, and Chapman were my 3 biggest hits. All extended time. In a league with 2DL spots. But I now have Ross on the DL and Ces, so Chapman stays on the bench?.I?m going to fix that now.

Billy Hamilton and Justin Bour go dtd in a league where I already have Pollock Haniger Gray Duffy out. Plus Ottavino who I know is a strange choice to HOLD onto (get it)....but I was up last week in that category and I believe he's the league leader.

I don't have a bench... I have field medical unit. I can't drop anyone because they're all on 10 day DL for the last 30 days

Any leagues with 2 DL should have automatically moved to 3 earlier this year. Thankfully we have 3 in Dobber and it's manageable....but still even more would be nice

One of my leagues is a 20 teamer with 1 DL spot. Hasn't changed at all this season either. Making things really interesting...
I picked up Dahl early and have thankfully been fairly healthy. Just waiting on Nunez to come back. There's definitely some strategy to it.

Going into last night was the first time since the first week of the season that I had no injured players....AJ Pollock and Duffy both returned.....things were great.

1 day later.....Carlos Correa dtd. Unbelievable
