I think he was supposed to be gone a few years ago, but every year the team kept going deeper in the playoffs, so it was hard for the GM to fire him. A first-round loss gives the GM a good chance to bring in the guy he wants.
12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.
League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2024.
Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.
We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

I checked the score mid-game... it was 52-21. I was like wow, they suck that score sucks too. I had to look twice 4:56 left in 2nd ... they always suck in the 1st round... even when they were an 8th seed, they never sucked like this. this bring sucking to a new level of suck. There's no way Casey sucks, I mean sticks as coach if the Raps lose this series and play another lethargic game like this. There's a lot of suck in this post... fitting me thinks.

Ya that was horrible. I didn't get to watch the game live but I saw the full recap... I still think he can save his job if the team miraculously turns things around (people forget about that crap if you rise from the ashes) but as it stands, he seems pretty much toast!

What a mess!
But u know its not just the playoffs Raps have been missing something right from the 2nd half of the seaon(b4 Lowry injury).
Something is definitely wrong. Casey expiry date? Something going on in dressing room? Etc.....

Well Casey saved his job. A good performance by his team in Round 2 will solidify his status for a longer period of time but he does not have to beat the Cavs to save his job

Not sure he's done if they lose... but if they lose 4 in a row, all blow-outs -- yeah, they're done. They were a better team last year. I don't see the same special something from them so far this post-season. They need to grind wins out over Clev and I just don't see them as a grinding team
