NHL Playoff Overtime Challenge - Discussion Thread

Hello all,

I was thinking that during OT in the playoffs we can have a little challenge.

Whenever a game goes into overtime, someone should start a thread (doesn't matter who, just whoever) and then people can reply with picking their overtime winners for each team.

People can pick the same player.

I will set up a spreadsheet and keep track of who picks the most correct winners throughout the playoffs.

I definitely do that one. But it does t keep track for how many right you get through the playoffs

I I was thinking this one and I would keep track of it throughout the whole playoffs.

Cool idea. Usually people make their predictions in the thread for each series. Maybe instead of a thread every time a game goes into OT, just one overall thread. That way, when someone replies to that thread, anyone subscribed would get an email in case they are not watching that specific game.

Good idea. Then there is only one thread I have to look at for keeping stats. Haha

I'm working on a little playoff bracket idea myself, but will wait until the teams are basically set for the second season. I'll post details then.

I just found there was a Memorial cup bracket challenge on officepools so maybe there will be an NHL one as well and save you some work?

Awesome! and no one has to make a pick for every OT game..... just make the picks that you make count!

Just a reminder to subscriber to the above thread and make your picks before OT begins. I am guessing that two of these series go into OT tonight : Montreal/New York, Ottawa/Boston, Minnesota/St.Louis.

With one of them going into double OT.... man I love OT in playoff hockey!
