The Goalie Conundrum 😎

I have 4 waiver moves left. Need to settle upon my goalie tandem and run with them.
I'm leading by a small margin.
Teams right behind me have Budaj/ Dubnyk and the other Price/ Holtby.

2pts win plus 3pts shut out, no bench.

Currently I'm running with Andersen / Griess.

Those available: Murray, Lundqvist, Gibson, Condon, Schneider, Allen, Rinne, Luongo, Bishop

I have looked at making a trade so as not to use my waiver moves. Those out of contention have locked their goalies in as keepers for next year.

I'm looking at picking up Murray at least. What 2 would you run with ?

Murray for sure. Toss up between Andersen (who you have), Lundqvist (hit and miss this year) and Gibson (decent stats, but no goal support in many nights).

I figured Murray for sure and then a toss up of Lundqvist, Gibson . I'll give Andersen a few more starts and go from there.
Nobody else will be picking up Lundy or Gibson at this point. Cheers

With limited moves left I'm not sure that home run pick up is there - Andersen and Greiss had rough last starts but otherwise have matched what you'd get on the wire. Now if you could roster another goalie for a skater that's a different conversation

Matt Murray I would def. add... One I like as having a strong stretch is Luongo. They just added Sasha & Hubs to their line up. They could make a really solid stretch run.

I'd consider Murray over Andersen (I love Andersen, but he's very up and down, one start to the next) . Murray will give you more consistency. It'll be hard to see him having back to back 6-5 games.

One GM has Holtby & Price, he has begun to think about his 5 keepers for next year. I threw Malkin's name out there in case he was considering keeping only 1 goalie. It peaked his curiosity. Will see where that goes.
