I think it's just the way the backup fell on the set up back to back games. If this was a slate with 8 games tonight then likely no one questions Kuemper being in. Have him spot starting in one league just for the min goalie starts. Hopefully the one goal is just about all we see on him.

Thornton just scored his 4th of the year. It's the 1st that beat a goalie as the other 3 have been EN.

watching nashville vs new york. want to see how well saros does. so far hes made a couple key saves and is looking good. for a small goalie he doesnt really look that small in net. GO SAROS

still remember when he had a monster year in 05/06. i didn't think he would last much longer in the league since he was in his mid 30's lol.

sure hope he plays until he is 50. be awesome to see

That was the worst coach's challenge I've seen, made by Detroit. The ref was standing 10 feet away and was waving off the goal immediately, and anyone could see from the replay that there was definitely goalie interference there. But regardless of this, Detroit wanted to waste their timeout on that. I'm definitely not understanding what they tried to do with that challenge.

Is anyone else watching the CAL/LA game?
This is a playoff style game between two teams that do not like each other if I have ever seen one. Started in warmup with players from both teams meeting at centre ice to exchange some words. One the game started though it has been scoring chances, hits, penalties and fights galore.

Looking forward to a fun finish here.
