Incorrect. Ottawa has played 42 games.
Maybe it is your media market where he doesn't get the recognition he deserves? My view of it is he gets recognition proper to what he is.

Nylander/Marner/Matthews get more media attention than Stone because

    a. they are 4-5 years younger than Stone, all in their rookie seasons
    b. they are putting up as good or better numbers than he is (38, 37, 29 - vs 34)
    c. they are on the youngest team in the NHL.

If Stone was at pt per game when he was 19, there'd be more hype on him now at 24.

I didn't make a comment about any of those guys except Marner's iso-cam. Matthews deserves the praise, but we don't need to see every shift where nothing happens for Marner.

I don't see Nylander being hyped though and for good reason. he isn't nearly as good as some other rookies.

Right. Coming from the guy that whines about what people are discussing in a hockey forum. Get a life.

    I'm ignoring you. Bye bye.

The way I look at Big Ev or the Iron Sheik hes either mentally unstable or the biggest troller ever. Either way I find it fun to poke around his fourms, as you can see by the many hits on this one, others do as well.

Really? Because that's exactly what I get from Mr. Guru's posts...either severely autistic, or down's syndrome, or something.

    Me? I'm just talking hockey

    Someone pay attention to Ottawa!!

Toronto gets all the media in Canada. It's not fair!!!

    *insert baby crying picture*

Babies cry and threaten to quit. Babies create different alias just to get back in the forums after they are banned. The same forums they threatened to quit dozens of times.

    Your're a child. Grow up.

What a hypocrite Guru is. I'm done in this thread. One person has to ruin it for the rest of us, sadly.

Well, in the five games since i criticized Stone's shooting rate he has 19 SOG. I said he needs to shoot at least 2.5 times per game to have a prayer at hitting 70 and he has answered the bell with 3.8 SOG per game since then! Alas, he only has 3 points in those 5 games and I still don't see him hitting 70 this year. But I love his shooting rate and while it is bound to regress a bit I hope to God he can keep it up around 2.5-3 long term. That would make me a very happy Stone owner (Stoner?).
