Pierce has actually played 2B fairly effectively in the past too if memory serves, as well as corner OF. Not 100% sure this spells the end of Edwin, but I'm really hoping it means we don't grab Mitch Moreland.
Either way I'm pretty happy with the signing as he can spell Travis at second when he's injured, and is a solid bat all in all.

121 innings at 2B
12.2 innings at 3B
49innings at LF
35innings at RF
12games (with Tampa) at DH
Only played 85games last yr, but it was the 3rd most games he’s ever played in.
