    Default Couture or Duchene

Who would you rather trade, Couture or Duchene? In a Keeper pool, points only.

I have plenty of Centers and I could get at least a 6th overall 2017 draft pick for him.
Matthews, Laine, Puljujarvi, Marner, Strome, Dvorak, Sergachev, Aho... so would be one of these top gun as the players need to have played one NHL game to be available.

Only 4 centers are starting. Here's my current team at center.
Crosby, Tavares, Couture, Duchene, Draisaitl, Spooner, Horvat, Lindhom

I'm not in a Win mode now... more likely next year.

Duchene has more upside in a points only IMO. So I would trade Couture.
    12 Team Keep 5 (2 F, 1 D, 1 G, 1 Any) G,A,PTS,PPP,SOG,HITS,PIMS,W,GAA and Sv%.

    F: Kucherov, K.Connor, J. Hughes,,J.Guentzel, A.Svechnikov, C.Giroux, T.Terry
    D: Q. Hughes, A.Pietrangelo, J.Carlson, A.Ekblad, Sanheim

If you are not in win now mode this year.. but are in win now mode next year.. I would consider not trading either of those pieces until you see how they do this year.

I expect big years from both of them

Couture- if he can stay healthy he showed us what he can do in the playoffs last year.
Duchene - with a new coach I expect Duchene and Mackinnon to both push 70 + points this year.

So if you start 4 centres... Would you not want the 4 best options for Centre next year? I think that would be Crosby, Tavares, Couture and Duchene.

Just don't draft another young center unless its Mattews. Target Laine, Pul, Dvorak etc

Don't you think Draisaitl could be better than Couture or Duchene the next couples of years?

I think he Could be as good as or maybe better in the next couple years... possibly.. yes.

But I don't think Horvat, Lindholm or Spooner will be.

So keep Draisaitl as a 5th centre after the four mentioned above. RNH appears to be #2 C right now... so it might be a couple years before Draisaitl outscores Duchene or Couture. and if you are wanting to go for it next year... I am not taking the risk.

I prefer Couture but his health gives me scares. IF he can stay healthy, I'd want him over Duchene but I find Duchene is a tad overrated anyway.

Then, should I trade Draisaitl one on one for the draft pick? (Likely Marner, Strome, Dvorak, Sergachev or Aho)
Draisaitl is currently playing on the wing with RNH...

If Drais an option for a trade then I trade him. I think if he's lucky he gets to Couture and Duchene level.

My concern would be less that he doesn't match those guys but that he's probably better than whoever is available with the 6th pick. Gotta think that the top guys from this year plus Marner will be gone and if that's the case then Draisaitl would be the one to keep. Also, if he's playing the wing like a few of those other players the OP has then I'd be less concerned about having too many centres.

I would take Couture. I'll deal with the injury if and when it comes up.

You still think it? First PP with McDavid seems to be pretty productive...
