Easily Gaudreau. Don't forget, we're talking AAV here, so the gap isn't going to be massive...Gaudreau will be what, $7.5M (hopefully?), but right now, Laine's AAV is $3.575M (versus $925K cap hit) and has yet to show how many POINTS (goals heavy format, I might take Laine) he can put up. Easily Gaudreau, no contest. Proven over potential 98 times out of 100.

That kinda sucks but you still get to keep Gaudreau, one of the elite wingers in the league

Might have this back on the table.

    Gaudreau (lets say 7.5M)

    for

    Laine (3.57M)
    Hellebuyck (925k)
    S Theodore (863k)

Maybe Zibanejad (1 year left 2.62M) instead of Theodore

Depends on the rest of the team, but if you have the room for Gaudreau, then he should have the overall higher performance.
All my poolers don't want Gaudreau in their teams...

From a value perspective, Laine is MUCH better

But like Eskimo says, if you got the space...

Wow, a few days later and this trade is very different.

    Gaudreau signs cheap deal.

Hellebuyck is no longer a prospect goalie and becomes a starting goalie (50 starts?) @ 925K

    Just interesting
