Default My first NFL fantasy season.

    I know nothing about football.

I joined a league this year. Read a few rankings before the draft. Printed off a few. And drafted.

It's a start 2qb league standard Yahoo roto league.

    2qb: Palmer and Fitzpatrick
    2wr: Jeffrey and Shepard
    2rb: Gurley and CJ Anderson
    1te: Reed
    WR/RB/TE: Floyd

    Bench
    Wallace
    Sharpe
    Abdullah
    Crowell
    Prowell
    Walford

I know i need to get a qb for the bye weeks and just to have but what would you offer and for who? Can i trade some depth from another position. Who?

How many teams? Standard scoring or PPR league?

No worries MG. Since fantasy football is basically 90% luck due to the ridiculous amount of injuries and the tiny amount of games compared to other sports, you have as much chance of winning as the most experienced and knowledgeable players.

    Yes def need to know if standard scoring or Point Per Reception scoring;

The Good: excellent RB duo, excellent TE, solid QB duo, sufficient RB depth (especially Crowell)

The Bad: lacking at WR; Jeffrey as #1 option dicey because he is made of glass; he is no doubt a WR1 when healthy but he rarely remains that way and if he goes down you are really weak at an important position.
Suggestions: For now with what you have "set and forget" at WR with Jeffrey/Floyd. FLEX start either Abdullah or Sharpe, he is the WR1 for the Titans and will be targeted, keep Wallace as well he seems like he is out to prove something in Baltimore. Stick with the QB duo you have and worry about replacing come the bye week(s). Dump Prowell and Walford they are not roster worthy. Tell me what is available on the wire right now.

You need to know what you're doing. In my league, the same teams consistently finish at the bottom.

I'll get the waiver list out later. But thanks all for the replies.

That would help a lot. I find that drafting is one thing, but you win leagues by watching the waiver and properly streaming against weaker match ups.

If its a keeper league I'd be stashing Allen right now. Coates is somebody to keep an eye on whenever Wheaton is out for Pittsburgh. Boyd would be a good add as well as the #2 in Cincy until Eifert returns. I also see no reason for you to roster Walford when you have Jordan Reed at TE. You need to replace Reed only during his bye and when he gets injured.

If you want to roster a TE for that week 9 bye, look at Rudolph. Minny plays Detroit and Bradford loves TE. He threw Rudolph’s way 8 times last week. He plays Philly then Chicago week 7 and 8, so you can likely get him after week 7 (or week 6 on his bye week without wasting a WW pick) before he gets a nice game vs the Bears.

This Rudolph guy is already taken.....

And whats up with Gurley....isn't he supposed to be a top RB? The rankings told me to draft him 3rd overall!

They don’t have a QB to spread the field out. Everyone just stacks the box against St Louis and Gurley can’t get anything going.

Is Barnidge taken? I’d keep an eye on him with a new QB throwing to him. New QBs tend to love TEs.

    Yeah, taken.

I shouldnt have to worry about a TE for a while anyways. Unless injuries.

Would you consider trading Gurley...if yes, for who?
