Nice, I like these posts. Keep it up! Backlund in particular is the definition of a no-name player who sneaks under the radar but does well.

Good article, not sure if i agree with the Gagner paragraph fully, but i think the soderberg and backlund ones hold alot of truth. All in all a good read.

Gagner I wouldn't put money on, but he really is an interesting one. I don't know why he declined so suddenly and I do believe he has the potential to turn things around. It depends if he still wants to be an NHL player. This could be his last chance to prove himself, maybe he needs the fire to wake up. But maybe he will be a complete bust and the Blue Jackets will scratch him, replacing him with a harder working youngster

Backlund definitely stays under the radar. My league is 16 teams deep so I think he will be 100% drafted. Who knows if he'll be good enough to make it onto a squad in a 12 team league though. Regardless, could be a great one game pick up whenever you need a spot start if Calgary is playing a weaker team.
^^^ I agree. I like the other sleepers but Gagner I don't have much faith in him. Not sure what happened to him. Still remember when he was playing for Team Canada in the World Juniors way back deking guys out lol.
I've been burned by Gagne one too many times. But aside from him, this is a pretty insightful article. Thanks for finding it for me!

Maybe all of this bad blood for Gagner will prevent me from getting burned this year going for him :P
This a very nice article. Good job. Andrighetto is a really nice sleeper in deep leagues. For those that have watch him play, he's a very crafty players with a motor that just wont stop. Plus he's got skills and an opportunity on the Habs top6/9.

Agreed. It might be too early this year for him, especially if Radulov pans out, but I think he'll be a well known name soon either way
