Be interesting to see if you can hold his developing stats on your team while you go for a 3-peat.
I know a guy who may be able to hold those developing stats on his roster a bit better...

[Kotkaniemi and RT were both contemplated holds by me in my F6 spot until P.Kane came up. I don't think 4T2(SaB) can afford to hold Kotka... same way you can't afford to hold RT. There's a couple extra competing teams, specifically CoB will be back and AA will be strong. It'll be interesting to see if you guys can hold those guys!!!]
Yeah, I honestly only drafted Kotkaniemi in hopes of flipping him to a non-playoff team later in the season. Even if he breaks out, he's unlikely to crack my keepers so I'll be looking to move him later for a solid playoff rental.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

Everything is bigger in New York, including trading defencemen.

Agreed, if you had asked me yesterday who outside of Eichel, Zibs, and Barkov I was least likely to trade this year, I would have said Trouba. But, things change at the drop of a hat, and I love me some Ryan Pulock.

    Jeff Perry!!!

Interesting trade... somebody is absolutely DONE with owning Malkin, LOL.
I wonder if the Wheat Kings are playing a buy-low/sell-high stock market here... or if this is a "Hold" purchase!
    Stay tuned!

I don't think the Wheat Kings yet know exactly what they're doing here. Adding to a position of strength by pulling from a position of weakness.

Guess we'll have to watch and see what unfolds.

Thanks for consumating this deal guys. Which leads me to another question (forum item already posted).

I've been essentially offered Larkin for Malkin (some additional peripheral items but really comes down to these two). Do I cut bait FINALLY with Malkin and replace him with Larkin (and can Larkin be a keeper on my team... in sig)?

    Thanks

I may have been the guy who traded for Malkin, but if you're getting Larkin back, then I think you may have to jump on it.
