Timashov - 85 and 90 points in his the last two seasons in junior.
If you had the choice between the following two boom/bust leaf prospects, who would you take?
Dmytro Timashov vs Jeremy Bracco
Timashov - 85 and 90 points in his the last two seasons in junior.
Timashov....Bracco has great offensive instincts and is slick with the puck. Without, he's nothing but a cherry picker and a defensively liability that if it weren't for faceoffs in his own zone, I don't think he'd ever cross his own blueline. His full game to me will prevent him from making an NHL impact.
I am not overly high on either to be honest but if I had to choose, I'd gamble on Timashov over Bracco.

Timashov Boom
Bracco Bust
my prediction. Tima does nothing but improve and impress whenever he's on the ice at Leaf camps. Bracco is much further behind in terms of all round game and development.
I read an article on Timashov last year that he pissed he went in the 4th round. He's a workhorse & is hell-bent to prove he's better than his draft position. That said, he's likely a 2nd line winger as a ceiling. He's got an engine and will grind it out all over the ice.
Same with Bracco as far as 2nd line ceiling, but my belief is if Bracco doesn't hit that ceiling, he doesn't crack the NHL. His game isn't a bottom 6 mould. I'll Kyle Wellwood him in terms of what I expect from him as a player

I own Bracco and I'd take Timashov , but not high on either .

For what it's worth, I would prefer Timashov. I wouldn't be expecting a lot because his odds of making the show still aren't the highest, but I think he has a better all-around game than Bracco.
Timashev, but both to me are boom/bust players

I like Timashov more than Bracco. Personal preference, both guys have similar upsides and likelihood of reaching them.
