Don't like the first deal. It being for two injured players at the moment, and you would have to drop someone.
I was trying to talk myself into the second deal, but Abreu has been bad, and the two pitchers you are buying high. Tulo has been on a tear, and will continue to be. You can do better.

I wouldn’t move Stanton. He had what, 2 2hr games over 4 games to finish off the 1^st half? Then destroyed the derby? He could get his swing back and what his ranking climb. Tulo, remember the last time he had a mental break? Came out firing on all cylinders.

I’d wait to pull the trigger. I still think the move that you should do is to move Tulo, maybe even for picks. But Stanton, Harper, Machado are all under 26yrs old. No way am I breaking up that core for what you’re getting back.

I have ended up competing a deal trading Chris Davis for Estrada and Greinke.

At this point, is it a good idea to stay, or to complete my other deal of Machado for Boegarts and Salazar? I keep thinking about it.. And I don't think the difference between Machado and Boegarts is thay huge, this year anyways. And Salazar has been a stud.

Stay, or make one more deal to save my fantasy season?

If you're in last, it can't make you any worse, and you do need pitching help.
How far back are you from a playoff spot though. If it's close then I hold, but if you're far back then sometimes drastic actions are necessary!

Im not far off a playoff spot. top 6 out of 8 make it and I'm 1/2 game back of 6th. However, with only 7 weeks until playoffs i play every team one last time, meaning ill end up playing the top half of our league once each. Thats what scares me. Boegarts stats are even if not better than Macho's except for HR and XBH. To me, it seems worth the upgrade with Salazar coming back.. Just tough to trade the big name guy in the deal. They always say, whoever gets the best player in the deal wins the trade.

However the guy who offered this to me is in 7th.. So I'm not too scared that he'll runaway and steal that playoff spot from me.

That's an interesting position you are in. The other manager is pretty desperate too trying to make the playoffs. I wonder if it's possible that you could ask more of him. I don't mind the Bogaerts deal, but I would wait the week and see what kind of position you are in after that.

I'm playing him this week haha. We will see what happens. I still think the trade makes me a better overall team. I just lose a big name
