What Dobber posted isn't a rumour and it's a click bait misleading title. It's not a rumour. It's reporting that 1 of 30 teams is interested in maybe signing a player, and oh by the way 10 other teams are interested in that as well.

This is one rumour that may actually come to fruition.
In all seriousness though, maybe rumour is the wrong title for the thread, but it seems that we do all enjoy discussing the ins and outs of possible signings that someone may initially see as a fit. I love those kind of discussions, however my family/friends are nowhere near as insightful or knowledgeable as the Dobber community.

Exactly, I love discussing hockey, whether it be outlandish possibilities or not. And the boards here sure beat the blank stares I get from my partner and our 2 year old. The semantics of what title a thread has doesn't change my enjoyment of the discussion.

If Edmonton makes the moves they're rumoured to be in on right now though, I'd think they become an absolute juggernaut in their division overnight.

They were both brought in for a tour of the new facilities and to be sold on coming into Edmonton. Part of the "courting" process I suppose.

Demers makes sense. Lucic, a little less considering their roster situation.
