What are your early predictions for Getzlaf next season. I'm debating between him and Neal as my last keeper and with our format being Goal and SOG heavy, I'm leaning towards Neal.

Is Tom Kuhnhackl forever pigeon-holed as a penalty killer specialist now? Just a 4th liner? Point wise what do you think for next season?

Help narrowing down keepers. Keep 6.
All teams keep 2 goalies. I tried keeping 1 goalie once . Those available in the draft and on waivers were not enough to help me catch up in the 4 goalie categories.

Generally I would look to package a couple players to obtain an upgrade. However guys like, Ovechkin, Benn, Karlsson, Tarasenko, Tavares, McDavid, Stamkos , Burns are not available.
Kucherov, Malkin are available. Seguin is available for Crosby.

    Question 1 : Who do I keep ?
Top of my head I would go with Holtby, Crawford, Crosby, Kane, Hall, Klingberg. Leaving out Backstrom & Giroux only because they are Centres which are easier to draft or pick up on waivers.

    Question 2:
Is it more beneficial to try and move non-keepers for draft pick upgrades or return them to the draft where 1 or 2 could become available to me ?

Appreciate your advice . Thanks Dobber for taking the time to do this. Cheers

I own the "difficult" 4th overall pick in the next draft. For the team and league in the signature, would you rather pick Tkachuk or Dubois? I could certainly use a young LW and I like multi cat guys for this league...
Or is it too early to tell before we know where they'll end up?

    Thank you Dobber!

I have to drop two of the following: Henrique, Bjugstad, Niederreiter, Teravainen, Hertl

My thoughts are Henrique (due to high shooting %) and Niederreiter (low scoring team, low upside).

    Any thoughts?

I am curious on your thought about Gustav Nyquist.

He had a down year last year (17G) compared to back to back 27+ goal seasons. Is he a serious bounce back candidate this year and how do you see him in the future in Detroit?

Thoughts on a couple guys I own:

Jack Johnson -- last year was abysmal. Any chance for a rebound at all?
Filppula - assuming Stamkos moves on, is he a bounce back candidate?

    Two questions:

What effect will smaller goalie equipment have on player point totals, and do you see rankings changing (i.e. certain goalies affected more than others)?

Quantitative outlook on these young players: Bo Horvat, Kevin Hayes, Matt Dumba, Alex Wennberg?

Wondering if it should impact my keeper selections on D.
Need to choose 2 from Hedman, Shattenkirk, Pietrangelo, Parayko.
