Jaccob Slavin is a rookie that plays defense for the Carolina Hurricanes. He plays the position exceptionally well, and not just for someone his age. Even when compared with veterans that have much longer experience, he stands out as having had a solid season.

he contributed nicely to my teams success in the 2nd half and is still eligible for minors spot .
definately worth a look in leagues that dress 6 D / 14+ teams
He's on my draft board. A solid rookie campaign.

I would watch out for a bit of a sophomore slump if he ends up getting more defensive responsibilities next year (less sheltered). He is probably up to the task in the defensive end more so than other 19yr old D men, but just to put a bit of a flag on him so he doesn't start getting too overvalued to be an easy disappointment.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Good point. On the other end we saw Lindholm go into a big slump this season.
