He wasn't referring to you being sarcastic. He was saying the original discussion around Kadri for Subban was sarcasm.

His value is pretty low in a trade I would imagine. Too big of a contract and not the best teammate. This season he showed really poor leadership.

Didn't say he wasnt a great dman, it's just that contract might be unmovable. It's a very very bad contract. They will get less than people think if they trade him. Just like most trades.

Most teams not named Nashville, Anaheim, Chicago and maybe LA would be drooling at a chance to overpay for Subban. He's a difference maker. Sure, he's got some flaws, but being a good teammate is not one of them. Not sure where you're getting that info from. I suspect one of our many rabid Habs fans would be better informed on Subban as a teammate. Is he worth paying a premium for? Hells yes! You could pay 2 x $4.5M defensemen or Subban and a scrub and I'll take Subban 10 times out of 10.

in real life, however, he's not elite. Not like Weber, Karlsson, Doughty etc. I think Ev is right.. He won't command a kings ransom. I would love to see him with McDavid, but thinking PC will give more than RNH and a pick is a bit of a reach.
