Steve Mason is quietly having an excellent finish to the season.
His numbers over the last 12 games have been phenomenal. I predict he's going to carry this momentum into the playoffs, as will the rest of Philadelphia and they will give Washington a real run for their money in the first round. Don't count Philadelphia out automatically, I think almost anything is possible with Mason in the net. He's really coming into his own as one of the better goalies in the league, and I think he will be in the top five statistically within the next year or two as the Flyers continue to improve.
I am a die-hard Avalanche fan!
