I personally don't see him going back to 35+ g.

Question 2: What odds would you put in Radulov playing in the NHL next year?

    Thanks!
    1. I have been thinking decline on Nash for a couple of years now, but then he had a decent season last year. I think last year raised expectations too high and I don't think he should be counted on for more than 60-65 in any given year. I don't think he's declining, I just think we need to be realistic about what he is.

    2. 5%. I know he signed that contract and then his agent said he didn't...but it's enough to scare me away. For now.

I haven't seen him in the NHL yet, so with that in mind I think he'll be a midseason call up next year, full -time in 2017-18, and he'll have his first 50-point season in 2018-19. I think he is a future second liner with a shot at becoming a first liner with some bounces and good chemistry with another young star. Torts does really like him from what I've heard and read

My question is this: What type of numbers do you see for Logan Couture going forward? His 2015/16 season did not start that well and he has not really been himself since his injuries. Trying to decide whether to keep him in my keep 10 but he is not showing me anything lately that gives me a great deal of optimism going forward. My league rewards face offs with .05 of a point (league in sig), so even with 55-60 points he will likely outscore Wheeler by a fair margin (as long as he generated his usual 400-500 face off wins). With the face off wins as a high scoring category in this league, I am almost tempted to keep Trocheck. If he can get me 600-700 F/O wins and 50-55 points + next season he is right in the mix with Wheeler and Couture. Plus he is only 22 years old. The lad is really putting together an impressive last half of the season. Currently Trocheck is 31st in my league in scoring amongst all skaters. Ahead of both Couture and Wheeler for ppg average. Couture (1.79), Wheeler (1.9), and Trocheck (2.03).

    What are your thoughts Dobber?
I would keep Trocheck over him. I would also keep Rielly over him. Couture has real nice upside, but his upside is what Trocheck is already doing - and Trocheck isn't getting hurt.

Do I consider picking up Hertl (linemate of the Joe's), or Marleau/Couture (play PP with them but ice cold) to try to counterbalance if SJ goes off? Or even adding Reimer to block possible SJ goalie tandem (SJ play canucks twice who've been getting shutout like crazy)

Or should I try for players like McGinn (already have Perry/Getzlaf/Silfverberg), E.Kane, Palat, Toffoli, Lucic or Eakin/Sharp (other team also has J.Benn)

Would probably drop Nash, and Galchenyuk.

There isn't anyone especially standout on the wire... Was just curious on your input on who has an easy schedule this week. Thanks again!

Thanks for doing this Dobber. For the team in my signature would you keep Silfverberg, Pastrnak, Reimer, Lehner or Aho (I would then add him to my prospect roster during our draft next year as prospects can only be added during the draft) over Varlamov or Pietrangelo? If Varly wasn't kept I would activate Gibson during next years draft to replace him.

So around 250th overall? That sounds like a bargain. Also sounds like your No.3 goalie which puts you in a very strong position for next year

    Dobber!!!

Late to the party but I did a 180 degree turnaround on my team this past month. I ended up moving my entire roster Ina youth movement. I picked up some decent pieces but I am most interested on what the outlook is on Bennett and Hanifin in particular. I think I have a good handle on the rest of my team (except what to expect from Domingue but that's a team decision.)

With Smith's contract I would only expect something from Domingue during the injury windows next year and the year after. Or perhaps in 2017-18 it will be a Mrazek-Howard situation. So yes, we'll have to wait and see.

Bennett is a surefire 70-point guy in my opinion, likely starting two seasons from now. Hanifin will be a lesser Ekblad (so whatever Ekblad gets, subtract five points to get Hanifin)

I'm holding onto 1st right now and have rotated goalies throughout the season to scrape pts when Price and Elliott went down. I thought my latest bandaid Murray would have gotten one of the Pitt back to back games but looks like Pitt had other ideas. Bobrovsky is on the waiver wire tonight. Can I get a couple of wins out of him without killing my SV% and GAA the remaining games or stick with Murray in hope he gets a couple of softballs thrown at him in the remaining games?

I posted this elsewhere but just in case ur monitoring this thread this morning before my deadline:

    Who to start

Barrie: 4-game week, 2h/2r, blues 2x, rangers, caps, one back-to-back. He has 2 pts in 9 games, but duchene and mckinnon due back this week, though who knows if they'll be back by tuesday night, and if they're not that's half of the four games down the drain.
    Faulk: 3, 2h, 1 vs Columbus, no b2b. Had a point yesterday.

It's a good thing I read ramblings in the morning, because I have a few questions .

    1) What do you think about two Ducks defensemen, Brandon Montour and Jacob Larsson, in Dynasty leagues? Both will probably have to wait until 2017-18 to get a real shot, but I'm more interested in 3Y and long-term. If Vatanen is moved this summer and Despres/Manson is lost in expansion draft, how much does that affect them? Also, how does Larsson compare fantasy-wise to Top-20 pick in 2016 NHL Draft?

    2) What do you think about Drouin next year? Will he stay in Tampa or will he get traded? If there's an expansion draft, it probably forces Yzerman's hand a little, but on the other hand they will have a lot of RFAs and UFAs to sign this summer and next. Also, what can we expect out of him point-wise in the short-term (i.e. if he finally gets a shot in the top six in 2016-17)?

    3) Do you think Klefbom will be the go-to guy on the Oilers defense over Sekera next year? Should we treat him as a future #2 guy when Nurse takes over or will he slip a little further down the depth chart?

    4) Assuming Ladd gets a 6M contract somewhere and plays in the top six, is it realistic to expect 60 points from him in the next couple years? How about Loui Eriksson and David Backes?

I would not trust this. But what are your other options? Right now Murray won't do much, I think they ride Fleury all the way. So you have Elliott starting 6 of 9 or whatever...or do you even own him still? I don't see him in your sig. Bob should be safe to keep the GA down to three or less each game, and should win one out of every two going forward
