I've taken notice of some Philly players this season, and I think you can draft them pretty late next season and they might offer some solid value.

Schenn - by now, most people are aware of what he's been doing for the last couple months. Do you believe he's for real though?

Couturier - 24pts in his last 31 games dating back to the beginning of December. Eye-opening to me. He's going to get one of Schenn, Voracek, or Simmonds on his wing next year and I think he can sustain this 60+ pt pace.

Provorov - I don't see how they keep him in juniors next year. Will probably earn 2nd pp minutes in short order.

Mason - Draft him as your 3rd or 4th and you'll be really happy. As the team takes steps forward, so will Mason. He's had a down season this year and people are sort of writing him off. If anything he'll be undervalued going into your draft and you can trade him midseason for a nice upgrade somewhere.

I will be drafting schenn but won't touch couturier. 45-50 guy at best with limited skill. 50 is a high number.

Not a big fan of mason due to inconsistency and poor team defence

I agree with Schenn and Provorov, also not a big fan of mason, but I do think he could be a heck of a third. Cout I will stay away from. Good thread, prepping for next year early.

Pretty much how I see it, too.

Anyone on that top PP unit is gold, and they'll be returning all five guys.

Couturier could do some stuff as a secondary guy but the number of teams who get fantasy relevant performances from both of their top two lines are limited.

Provorov could force his way in but the Flyers have four guys signed for next season, plus MacDonald, plus they probably want to bring Gudas back. I could see a nine-game taste for Provorov and then right back to the minors. There is room for him but the margins are thin.

No issues with taking a stab at Mason late.
