I get the economics of the game, but I think the Bruins would be a weaker team if they give up Eriksson. Brodin is a good dman though, but he won't add much to the offence.

+1, this reeks of throwing darts to me. Hell, I would think they would be sellers, if anything.

The Bees should hold onto Loui. A winger with excellent chemistry with Krejci....hug it out and keep him. Still very serviceable and the Bees are still in playoff contention.

Don Sweeney doesn't have the cap space to give Eriksson the deal he wants.. Bergeron Krejci Rask Marchand and Chara take up too much of the salary cap..

This offseason they need to sign 7 forwards, 4 defensemen, and a backup goalie with roughly 23mill. Just not enough room to give him 5-ish mill, 1mill to a backup, 5-ish mill to Krug, then 12mill for 6 forwards and 3 d.

Loui was very mediocre in Boston until this season, funny how that happens in a contract year. I doubt he would be worth it to MN and I'm surprised Boston is so interested in re-signing him as well.
