Hellebuyck will re-steal the job before Hutchinson does. I don't think he's anything more than B2B fodder at this point.

I think if the Jets could get a pick for him, they'd jump on it. He's not a great goalie, but he's a decent back up for some team out there, in my opinion.

I expect a lot of it depends on how Pavelec does. If Pavelec does well, the more expendable Hutch becomes.

I don't think they "showcase" Hutch because I think he's a known quantity and anyone who will trade for him will do so based on his current body of work.

If I'm the GM I'm playing Pavelec to see if he can be relied on or not.

It's a brutal market for goalies. I'm not even sure Hutch would get them a pick in return unless one of the playoff-bound teams loses their backup and they get desperate for an insurance policy.
